The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We were in town for an Alabama Football game, and the hotel went above and beyond with its customer service during our stay, with free drinks, popcorn, cookies, and catering from a BBQ restaurant.

Excellent hotel, location, service, and staff. I love that it's very close to everything you need in the area. The business is clean, well-staffed, and all of the amenities are always in excellent working order. The rooms are quiet and peaceful, and there is no limit to what the staff will do to make you feel welcome and valued. FIRST CHOICE.

A few deal-breakers at hotels for me are noise and dirty rooms. The rooms aren't the cleanest, but we didn't find any bedbugs. The noise, though, is unbearable if you draw the short straw and end up with a room with a dying A/C unit. Other-than-football-season, I think their prices are reasonable for what you get, like any other Hampton Inn. During football season, though, they charge whatever they want, and it's in no way worth more than $120/night. Front desk staff is hit-or-miss as they range from seasoned management to personality-challenged college students. Food in the included free breakfast is worth what you paid for it... it's not what draws people to this hotel, and they know it, so why bother? They're like a hotel on the beach that charges the maximum during peak season in hopes that it'll keep them in business over the hump of the off season. Location is great if you're visiting your son or daughter attending UA.

My wife and I needed a hotel where we could spend the night after college move-in day. This hotel was nearby so we selected it on that simple criterion. The happy surprise was this hotel was close to campus, super clean, staffed by friendly staff and next door to the perfect restaurant to get a comfort food meal with adult beverages to take the edge off the busy day of move-in.

Great place stay with my daughter Brendan Mast. Great service and a good breakfast as well very clean as well Went out to pool very annoying power washer blasting couldn't hear .y phone waiting for a important call from my pharmacy! I moved to the other end of the pool and the fumes from staining by the pool area was just as obnoxious.! I was looking for peace and relaxation. Please be more considerate of your guests that are trying to enjoy your amenities. Thanks!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be near campus. In addition to the complementary breakfast buffet, there is a terrific sports bar conveniently located just across the parking lot.

Overall location is ok as there are not many hotels near campus but this hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade. Rooms are run down and extremely uncomfortable.
